Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the FableVPN apps and service. By using them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you got FableVPN from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies too; where the two differ, these terms add to Apple’s.

The service

FableVPN connects your device to the internet through our servers, so your traffic is encrypted on the way and sites see our server’s address instead of yours. You don’t need an account: each device gets an anonymous one the first time you open the app. Keep your support ID somewhere safe if you want help with your account later.

The free trial

Each device can try FableVPN free once, for 3 days with 2 GB of data, whichever runs out first. Nothing is charged, and the trial ends by itself. Reinstalling the app or deleting your data doesn’t start a new trial on the same device.

Premium and payment

Premium is a monthly subscription, currently $1.99 a month in the United States; the App Store shows the price in your currency before you buy. It includes 20 GB of data each month.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Data and extra data

Plans include a set amount of data, counted as it crosses our servers. Sites from your own country in Smart mode connect directly and don’t count. When your data runs out, the VPN stops connecting until your plan renews or you add extra data. Extra data is a one-time purchase that doesn’t expire: what you don’t use carries over.

Fair use

FableVPN is for private, everyday use. Don’t use it to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it
• Send spam, attack or scan other networks, or spread malware
• Harm children in any way
• Infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights
• Resell, share or overload the service, or get around its limits, such as by claiming trials on behalf of others
• Interfere with the service, its servers, or other people’s use of them

Since we don’t record what you do online, we act on what we can see, such as abuse reported to us or traffic that harms our servers. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms.

Availability

We work to keep FableVPN fast and available, but we can’t promise it will always work everywhere, or that a given site or service will work through it. The locations we offer may change. Some networks and countries restrict VPNs; you are responsible for using FableVPN where it is allowed.

Ending

You can stop using FableVPN at any time, and delete your data from Settings in the app. Cancelling Premium is done through Apple, as above. We may end the service, or a part of it, with notice in the app where we can.

Disclaimers and liability

FableVPN is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for more than what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can’t be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will appear here with a new date, and using FableVPN after that means you accept it.
